Nandagokula Theare, theatre performing wing of Arehole Prathishtana’s first production is “Kamsaayana” written by the famous Play writer and an Author Dr H S VenkateshMurthi and it is directed for the team by the legendary theatre Director, Dr Shripad Bhat. “Kamsaayana is a play that talks about the battle between a City and a Village (Mathura and Vrindaavan). Basically, Kamsaayana includes the mythological story we all know that is the storyline of Lord Krishna and Mahaaraj Kans (Kamsa).
To mention separately, the artists of NDC are the same artists involved in this play. This brings light to the fact that Nandagokula artists actively engage themselves in both dance and theatre fields. Nandagokula is expecting ‘Nandagokula Theatre School’ , an institution of Dance and Theatre very soon.
Kamsayana
The main goal of Nandagokula Theatre School (NTS) is to bring out the best in every Actor/ Dancer and have productions of its own and travel around the world spreading our rich tradition and Culture through our beloved Art form.
